Bedford Players Theatre is a vibrant, non-profit amateur theatre group that has been a cornerstone of the cultural scene in Bedford, Nova Scotia for over four decades. The theatre is known for its intimate atmosphere and a long, successful history of staging popular comedies and mysteries. It currently stages three productions per year, in March, June, and November.
Bedford Players prides itself on being a 100% volunteer-driven entity, involving around a hundred community members in the staging of each production. Beyond providing entertainment, the theatre is deeply committed to serving their community, using their productions to raise funds to support local charities and benevolent organizations. They embrace diversity, and provide a welcoming experience to all who volunteer in or attend their productions and events.
