Theatre Nova Scotia is a registered charity dedicated to celebrating and uplifting live theatre in Nova Scotia. We serve all areas of theatre arts across the province including: professional theatre companies, community theatre companies, individual theatre artists, and educators from all levels of schools and universities. 

Formed by a merging of the Nova Scotia Drama League (1951) representing Community Theatre, and the Nova Scotia Professional Theatre Alliance (1991), Theatre Nova Scotia was officially created in 2001. 

Our mission is to respond to the needs of the professional and community theatre sectors in Nova Scotia by encouraging and supporting all aspects of live theatre through our programs and services.
