A new musical about immigration from Ireland to Canada during the Great Famine.

The Wind Coming Over The Sea is a new folk musical by award-winning Irish-Canadian writer Emma Donaghue (Room, The Wonder), using the traditional songs of Ireland, England and Scotland to tell the true story of an Antrim couple who emigrated to Ontario during the Famine. The Wind Coming Over The Sea recently had its world premiere at the Blyth Festival in Ontario in 2025. The production will be directed by Ken Schwartz and Musical Direction and Arrangement will be by Allen Cole.
