CFNS Group Insurance

Professional and Affiliate organization members of TNS who have full time employees are able to access a Group Benefits plan held by the Cultural Federations of NS with Manulife Insurance.

In order to partake in this plan, organizations must be Members of Theatre Nova Scotia in good standing, as well as pay an annual membership/administrative fee to the Cultural Federations of NS of $200

Eligibility for the Plan

  • Company must be a member in good standing of Theatre Nova Scotia
  • Individuals must be employees of the member company, working on a permanent basis for at least 20 hours per week (and are covered under a Provincial Health Insurance plan and are under age 65)
  • Those taking part will be part of the Cultural Federations of Nova Scotia group plan
  • Annual administrative fee must be paid upon invoicing
  • Payments for at least 6 months must be provided to CFNS as post-dated cheques or automatic e-transfers

How to Join

  • Reach out to Theatre Nova Scotia & request to join
  • Submit your Annual Fee of $___ to <___@cfns.ca>
  • Theatre Nova Scotia will reach out to Manulife with your contact details to set up your account 
  • Manulife will then be in touch with you to set up Direct monthly billing.
